Summary:

Arnaud Poivre d’Arvor spends three days in an entirely re-enacted historical setting. He gives up all the trappings of the modern world to don a costume from another era and discovers its daily customs through total immersion in groups of veteran re-enactors.

Innocent but erudite and curious about everything, he lives very really in a moment of history by encountering its “inhabitants”. Episode after episode, he shares the lives of15th-century serfs, pirates, Napoleonic soldiers, the Gauls, etc. But adapting to those times doesn’t always prove easy.
